PRAGUE, Czech Republic, March 1, 2022 – Rohlik Group ("Rohlik") has appointed experienced eCommerce manager Mark Hübner to the role of Group Chief Commercial Officer. Bringing sixteen years of professional and leadership experience in eCommerce, consumables retail and digital, Mark will be responsible for the development and execution of Rohlik’s commercial strategy. Mark spent seven years as general manager at Amazon, where he was running Amazon Fresh, Prime Now and the grocery marketplace businesses in Germany since 2019. Earlier, he was Associate Partner in Oliver Wyman’s Retail & Digital practices, consulting European retailers in commercial and digitization programs, and founded an eGrocery start-up in 2012.
As Chief Commercial Officer of the Group, Mark will be responsible for the commercial strategy with all aspects of Rohlik’s assortment and pricing experience provided to customers across Europe, helping them to live happier and healthier lives. This includes exciting programs such as Rohlik’s ambitious private label development, in-house production of delicatessens and other culinary innovations uniquely available as part of Rohlik’s services. “My role also comprises group-wide sourcing initiatives, international partnerships, and programs to strengthen the commercial performance of Rohlik Group. My team will work closely with our local businesses on all these customer-facing and commercial innovations.”
As part of the group executive team, Mark will also work closely with business segments and report directly to Rohlik’s CEO and founder Tomáš Čupr. “Mark has deep functional expertise in consumables retail, digital and eCommerce across commercial strategy, customer and partner acquisition, delivery operations, business planning, building and launching. He shares our passion for customer service, has experience with international expansion and I believe will help us become the definitive European online grocery company,” comments Tomáš Čupr.

Mark grew up in Germany and studied Engineering in Munich and Hong Kong. Professionally, he has been working with grocery retailers and online services in about ten European countries. A passionate cook, he also enjoys travelling, skiing, hiking and cycling.
